AI Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain AI-driven internal applications, automations, and workflow integrations.

• Convert business use cases into technical specifications and implementation strategies in collaboration with leadership.

• Suggest technical methodologies, AI models, development tools, data architectures, and deployment strategies.

• Utilize Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex, and similar agentic development environments to create and enhance applications.

• Create workflows that merge client/listing information, market data, and structured research to pinpoint potential buyers and strategic acquirers.

• Construct organized target lists, buyer evaluation workflows, buyer scorecards, deal-team briefings, and seller-facing buyer summaries.

• Implement a human-in-the-loop review process prior to external deployment.

• Integrate tools with Fireflies, Streak CRM, Google Workspace, internal documents, APIs, and approved platforms.

• Develop and manage APIs, databases, data pipelines, backend systems, and user-friendly internal applications.

• Create test plans and perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of AI workflows, applications, and integrations.

• Diagnose technical challenges, workflow disruptions, and edge cases; maintain existing applications effectively.

• Enforce data security, access permissions, and confidentiality standards.

• Collaborate with leadership and convey technical insights, trade-offs, progress, and requirements to non-technical stakeholders.

• Document technical choices, workflows, maintenance needs, and development priorities.

• Within the first 30 days, grasp existing workflows, recognize dependencies and security aspects, present an AI automation roadmap, and initiate a priority prototype or integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building AI-enabled applications, workflow automations, internal tools, or agentic systems beyond basic chatbot functionalities.

• Strong practical experience using Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex, or comparable AI coding environments.

• Extensive software development experience utilizing Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or an equivalent programming language.

• Familiarity with LLM APIs, structured outputs, prompt orchestration, and AI workflow design.

• Experience in developing APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and database-driven applications.

• Proficient in integrating third-party SaaS platforms using APIs, webhooks, and automated workflows.

• Capability to independently execute technical projects while working alongside non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to showcase previous AI implementations, including architecture, technical choices, trade-offs, and measurable results.

• Experience managing sensitive, confidential, or critical business information.

• Strong grasp of AI workflow architecture, LLM integration, structured outputs, and prompt orchestration.

• Competence in developing and maintaining APIs, database-driven applications, and automated data pipelines.

• Ability to integrate third-party platforms via APIs, webhooks, and workflow automations.

• Experience in creating testing protocols, validating integrations, and resolving technical issues.

• Ability to establish human-review processes for AI-generated outputs.

• Solid understanding of data security, confidentiality, and access permissions.

• Capability to create intuitive internal tools for non-technical users.

• Preferred: Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, LangChain, LlamaIndex, n8n, Make, Zapier, Supabase, PostgreSQL, AWS, GCP, or similar technologies.

• Preferred: Experience with call-transcript analysis, scoring models, structured reporting, or human-review workflows.

• Preferred: Experience in developing internal CRM, research, sales-operations, or data-enrichment tools.

• Preferred: Background in financial services, professional services, M&A, legal, or other industries involving confidential information.

• Must be available to work from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.
