This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +2 more states.
• Oversee the scope and timeline of each project.
• Foster a team culture that promotes collective responsibility for successful outcomes.
• Mentor and coach teams on the principles and practices of the agile framework.
• Define and refine project scope, estimates, and resource needs in collaboration with the squad.
• Prepare and conduct workshops, either virtually or in person.
• Facilitate meetings to track progress and address team challenges.
• Eliminate obstacles or assist the team in overcoming them.
• Evaluate the time and financial implications of scope changes and communicate with stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Decide when to implement experiments for learning and problem-solving.
• Monitor project budgets and provide status updates to the company.
• Manage the allocation of project resources in relation to squad composition.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders as well as delivery partners.
• Cultivate client relationships and align team efforts with clients' business objectives.
• Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams, including handling challenging conversations.
• Leverage data to inform critical decisions.
• Develop creative and technical judgment to achieve high-quality results.
• Share progress updates with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct team reviews and retrospectives.
• Present metrics and report on progress, team status, and issues to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Certification as a ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) or equivalent qualifications is preferred.
• Proven experience in a scrum master or agile delivery role.
• Experience in dynamic, multi-project environments with the ability to adapt quickly between contexts.
• Familiarity with applying Scrum, broader agile principles, and data-driven methodologies.
• Background in an enterprise agency setting and/or practical Scrum expertise.
• Strong skills in servant leadership, negotiation, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and transparency.
• Capability to negotiate and adjust project scope in response to changes.
• A strategic and driven mindset.
• Proficiency in project management tools, budget and time tracking software, and issue tracking systems; ability to recommend suitable tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts.
• Understanding of web technologies, including WordPress, PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, version control systems, and best practices for hosting and deployment.
