This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephone and email assistance for the employer’s tax software offerings

• Implement company policies and procedures to address customer concerns

• Document customer inquiries and reported challenges

• Engage in software quality-control testing

• Recognize and log recurring customer challenges

• Utilize active listening skills to ease potentially stressful customer interactions

• Operate entirely from home

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingualism in French and English is a valuable asset

• Willingness to work overtime

• Availability to work weekends during the tax season

• At least 1 year of relevant customer service experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

• A university degree in taxation or a related field is advantageous

• Completion of H&R Block tax course is a plus

• Strong understanding of the accounting cycle and/or experience in an accounting office is beneficial

• A keen interest in taxation

• Knowledge of corporate income tax (T2/CO-17) and/or trusts (T3/TP-646)

• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams

• Excellent time management skills and capability to juggle multiple priorities

• Competence to perform well under pressure

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Capacity to devise innovative solutions

• Openness to learn additional products and services as required
