This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and nurture relationships with patient organizations and professional societies that support the Amyloidosis/ATTR-CM and Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) communities.
• Create and execute stakeholder initiatives that align with strategic priorities in the therapeutic area.
• Foster partnerships with patient and professional organizations to provide insights and leadership.
• Cultivate relationships with advocacy groups and community partners within the ATTR-CM and SCD sectors.
• Ensure alignment between national brand strategies and patient engagement initiatives and partnerships.
• Establish advocacy and community forums that address the needs of patients.
• Oversee Pfizer’s Council for Sickle Cell CHANGE and guide its evolution towards a sustainable multi-company coalition.
• Collect metrics, trends, and insights to update senior leadership on achievements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Supply content and expertise on patient and professional alliances during strategic planning sessions.
• Implement patient-centered health equity advocacy strategies for ATTR-CM, heart failure, and SCD.
• Strengthen Pfizer’s leadership framework within the ATTR-CM community in collaboration with the Patient Engagement Lead and Brand Team.
• Convert patient landscape and dynamics into strategic imperatives for commercial and cross-functional teams.
• Manage relationships with ATTR-CM organizations and coordinate cross-functional workstreams across marketing, sales/KAM, public affairs, and medical.
• Spearhead cardiovascular equity partnerships and advocacy initiatives aimed at enhancing awareness, diagnosis, care access, and patient support.
• Act as Pfizer’s advocacy lead for the Council for Sickle Cell CHANGE, guiding its three workstreams.
• Create and disseminate care-improvement blueprints and manage coalition transition, partner readiness, Terms of Reference, and governance.
• Oversee agency and governance vendors, including scope, deliverables, budgets, and cost-sharing arrangements.
• Link Council insights to Pfizer’s SCD patient engagement strategy.
• Travel extensively, up to 50%, to foster internal and external relationships.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including account management, sales, marketing, or business operations.
• Experience in ATTR and/or Sickle Cell Disease is mandatory.
• Proven track record of success in a matrix environment.
• Extensive experience in the Specialty Care marketplace.
• Strongly preferred experience leading or engaging in multi-stakeholder coalitions, alliances, councils, or consortia.
• Capability to generate in-depth, targeted customer insights and integrate them into business strategies.
• Proficiency in aligning customized solutions with brand priorities across two therapeutic areas.
• Demonstrated initiative along with robust strategic and leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to translate strategies and analyses into actionable tactics.
• Skill in synthesizing complex information and extracting customer-driven insights.
• Effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent project and process management capabilities, including vendor/agency management and program budget oversight.
• Experience in coalition governance and facilitation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; adept at managing multiple projects across two therapeutic areas.
• Comprehensive understanding of Pfizer’s Specialty Care Businesses and relationships with commercial partners.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills at a senior level across multiple functions.
• Professional maturity with advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Patient-centric approach, demonstrating trust, integrity, and cultural humility when engaging with underserved communities.
• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
