This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Assist vocational centres in ensuring adherence to Pearson quality standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Engage directly with high-risk centres to resolve quality, operational, and compliance issues.
β’ Spearhead and coordinate quality enhancement initiatives across various centres and qualification sectors.
β’ Aid in the investigation and resolution of malpractice and maladministration cases.
β’ Tackle operational challenges affecting centre performance, such as late registrations, insufficient resources, delivery issues, and quality assurance shortcomings.
β’ Support actions stemming from Academic Management Reviews and other quality oversight activities.
β’ Provide expert advice on both internal and external quality assurance protocols, vocational assessment practices, and awarding organisation standards.
β’ Oversee centre activities and formulate improvement strategies for compliance and ongoing quality enhancement.
β’ Maintain precise, auditable records and generate data and reports to inform operational decision-making.
β’ Collaborate with Quality Standards, Investigations, Vocational Assessment, and Centre Management teams to identify trends, risks, and solutions.
β’ Foster relationships with centre leadership teams and stakeholders to promote positive quality outcomes.
β’ Travel frequently to vocational centres in the South of England and Pearson locations as needed.
β’ Proven experience in managing quality assurance within an educational, vocational, assessment, or awarding organisation context.
β’ In-depth knowledge of vocational qualification delivery, assessment, and quality assurance procedures.
β’ Experience in supporting compliance, audits, investigations, or centre improvement initiatives.
β’ Capability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.
β’ Strong project planning, organisational, and workload management abilities.
β’ Exceptional communication skills with the capability to articulate complex requirements clearly.
β’ Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and working autonomously in a dynamic environment.
β’ Robust problem-solving skills and a practical approach to enhancing performance and compliance.
β’ Graduate-level education and professional education qualifications are preferred.
β’ Experience in teaching, mentoring, or people management is a plus.
β’ Possession of a full UK driving licence.
