Advanced Practice Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform 60-minute psychiatry evaluations and 30-minute follow-up appointments remotely.

• Prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, adhering to state and federal guidelines.

• Integrate short-term psychotherapy when clinically suitable.

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leaders for support, escalation, and ongoing education.

• Work alongside therapists and other providers through integrated care plans, shared treatment insights, and team consultation sessions.

• Utilize data-driven tools and measurement-informed care to customize treatment plans and enhance outcomes.

• Build a patient caseload while delivering exceptional mental health services.

• Team up with colleagues to improve workflows and care protocols.

• Contribute to the psychiatry program, its services, systems, and clinician community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Licensed to practice as a PMHNP in New York.

• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses.

• More than 2 years of experience in providing mental health services as a PMHNP.

• Active DEA license in New York.

• Experience in delivering remote telepsychiatry services.

• Commitment to high-quality, measurement-informed, collaborative care.

• Availability to start in September 2026.
