Admissions Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with prospective students through both inbound and outbound phone communications as well as video conferencing.

• Achieve daily performance targets related to call volume, talk duration, and applicant progression.

• Conduct interviews with prospective students to evaluate their motivation, career aspirations, and educational barriers.

• Assist prospective students in overcoming challenges and identifying appropriate degree programs.

• Showcase the advantages of education and DeVry University, customizing information to align with student needs and objectives.

• Support students throughout the admissions process.

• Address inquiries and connect students with financial aid and academic advisors.

• Collect necessary enrollment documents and ensure the completion of admissions testing.

• Identify and reach out to additional prospective students through networking and building relationships with current students.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

• A strong passion for education and a commitment to helping prospective students achieve their educational and career aspirations.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Capability to listen and engage with prospective students over the phone.

• Proficiency in crafting well-written, persuasive messages.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as well as work independently.

• Strong internal motivation and goal-oriented mindset.

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weeknights and Saturdays.

• Reliable and consistent availability during scheduled work hours.

• Capacity to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.

• A professional and distraction-free home work environment, free from conflicting responsibilities.

• Home office must have DSL or cable Internet hardwired to a modem/router via Ethernet; dial-up, wireless, and satellite internet connections are not acceptable.
