Adjunct Teaching – Student Development, STDEV 317 & 318

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Instruct STDEV 317: Career Strategies for Employment & Internships through BYU Online

• Instruct STDEV 318: Graduate School Preparation via BYU Online

• Implement the university's core curriculum

• Maintain regular office hours to address the individual needs of students

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree must be obtained by the start date

• Relevant professional experience in guiding individuals through job search strategies, professional communication, and document preparation

• Knowledge of career assessments is essential

• Trained in career development using Clifton Strengths

• Must reside in Utah throughout the contracted period

• The successful candidate must either relocate or currently reside in Utah for the duration of employment

• An updated curriculum vitae, cover letter, and Mission Alignment Statement are required with the application

• Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must possess and be worthy of a current temple recommend

• All employees are required to adhere to the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards

• Expected to actively support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university
