This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Instruct Legal Assisting/Paralegal Studies during a designated period.
• Act as an educator, mentor, colleague, and scholar.
• Create instructional resources and structure lessons to improve student understanding.
• Develop course outlines and conduct classes.
• Ensure availability to students via email, phone, designated office hours, or alternative times.
• Assess student submissions and keep precise records of their academic performance using the LMS.
• Offer timely and constructive feedback that is both encouraging and corrective.
• Uphold the confidentiality of student information.
• Carry out additional assigned responsibilities and adhere to College policies and standards.
• Comprehensive and precise knowledge in the relevant field/discipline.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• A Master's Degree in Law/Legal Assisting/Paralegal Studies is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a CRMJ position directly connected to the subject matter being taught.
• Expertise in the technical area of specialization.
• Awareness of contemporary teaching methodologies, techniques, resources, and technologies for both onsite and virtual education.
• Capability to create instructional materials and develop syllabi.
• Proficiency in utilizing an LMS to assess student work and maintain precise academic records.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect student confidentiality.
• Capacity to attend classes as per the established schedule.
