This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Uphold a robust academic presence while striving for advancement in teaching, scholarly or creative endeavors, and service to both the college and the profession.
β’ Report to and collaborate under the guidance of the department chair.
β’ Engage with students directly in a professional capacity.
β’ Foster a secure and productive learning atmosphere.
β’ Respond swiftly to student inquiries and reach out to inactive students as necessary.
β’ Evaluate course functionality and content to guarantee high-quality delivery.
β’ Enrich course materials with personal experiences, insights, and professional expertise.
β’ Supervise assignments and offer suitable feedback to students.
β’ Analyze and report on student performance data.
β’ Adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines.
β’ Tackle issues related to ethical conduct, plagiarism, and copyright violations.
β’ Guide students towards additional resources.
β’ Collaborate with peers and leadership by participating in required meetings.
β’ Advocate for the college's vision, mission, and culture.
β’ Provide leadership within your area of influence.
β’ Keep professional and technical knowledge current through workshops, seminars, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
β’ Advocate for and support research to maintain quality program and course offerings.
β’ Possession of an earned terminal degree in a relevant field associated with the department (ESL/BL, Early Childhood Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Literacy, Special Education).
β’ A minimum of 3 peer-reviewed professional publications and presentations related to Doctoral Teaching & Learning.
β’ At least 1 year of experience teaching in a formal educational environment using both traditional and non-traditional teaching methods.
β’ Preference for candidates with higher education teaching experience.
β’ Proven experience in establishing online/virtual professional relationships.
β’ Demonstrated professional research and/or creative contributions alongside expertise in the discipline.
β’ Outstanding communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Capacity to work independently and collaboratively, even under pressure, while meeting tight deadlines.
β’ Commitment to support and promote the College's Impact mission.
β’ Minimum internet speed of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload from the remote work location.
β’ Applicants should not reside in Alaska, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, South Dakota, or Alabama.
