This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver online courses assigned by ACE utilizing approved educational materials and course content.
• Engage professionally with students and foster a safe and constructive learning atmosphere.
• Address student inquiries and reach out to inactive students as necessary.
• Assess course functionality and content to guarantee high-quality delivery.
• Enrich course materials with personal experiences, insights, and professional expertise.
• Oversee assignments and provide feedback to students in accordance with college policies.
• Analyze and report on student performance data.
• Uphold program and institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Assist students in understanding ethical conduct concerning plagiarism and copyright issues.
• Guide students toward additional resources as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and college leadership.
• Advocate for the college's vision, mission, and culture.
• Provide leadership in assigned roles and responsibilities.
• Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
• Keep abreast of emerging departmental issues and trends.
• Encourage and support research initiatives to ensure the quality of programs and courses.
• Possession of a terminal degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DNP, DNE) or exceptional content expertise at the master’s level in a related field.
• Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the required states or multi-state licensure.
• Valid Certified Nurse Educator certification (e.g., CNE, CNEcl).
• At least 5 years of full-time clinical experience in the areas of teaching responsibility.
• Proficiency in teaching adults, teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to build successful online/virtual professional relationships.
• Evidence of professional research, creative work, and expertise in the field.
• Proven leadership in teaching within higher education; remote experience is preferred.
• Capability to interpret and draft analyses of complex educational research documents.
• Current understanding of online teaching principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Ability to utilize or learn conferencing and learning management systems.
• Knowledge of and adherence to appropriate relationships among students, colleagues, and leadership.
• Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload from the remote work location.
• Responsibility for the purchase, setup, installation, support, and maintenance of reliable internet.
• Candidates must reside in the United States; those in Alaska, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, South Dakota, or Alabama are ineligible.
