📋 Description

• Serve as an adjunct professor teaching Human Services for GMC Online.

• May also instruct additional subjects such as Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work.

• Operate under renewable 8-week contracts, contingent on class availability and satisfactory performance.

• Submit all required application materials for evaluation.

• Maintain a suitable and functional home workspace for online instruction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or higher in Human Services is required.

• Competence in utilizing technology, particularly Microsoft Office.

• Capability to sustain a proper and functional workspace, inclusive of essential office furniture and equipment such as a desk/workspace, chair, monitor(s), and other fundamental home office necessities.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening is mandatory prior to employment.

• Candidates must submit a letter of interest, a current resume or CV, three letters of reference, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a copy of unofficial transcripts.

• Upon hiring, an official transcript related to the teaching position(s) will be required.

• Preference will be given to applicants qualified to teach multiple disciplines.

• Familiarity with learner-centered technology is essential.

• Proficient use of standard classroom technology is expected.

• Prior teaching experience is required.

• Experience with Canvas is preferred.
