Adjunct Elementary Teacher – Teaching Services

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Assist in delivering instructional programs through both synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions utilizing Class Zoom.

β€’ Evaluate assignments and offer timely, high-quality, personalized feedback.

β€’ Maintain regular communication with students and teachers to keep pacing plans and schedules updated.

β€’ Utilize data to track assignment completion and promote ongoing course engagement.

β€’ Review curriculum and adapt courses for students with IEPs or 504 plans.

β€’ Collaborate with team members and administrators to create enrichment activities and modify lessons.

β€’ Cultivate a broad understanding of the curriculum along with in-depth knowledge of assigned courses.

β€’ Engage with students through phone, chat, and WebMail communications.

β€’ Safeguard student well-being and personal information while adhering to FERPA and Copyright & Fair Use regulations.

β€’ Keep accurate records of student performance and participation, including grading and documenting student and parent interactions.

β€’ Conduct regular office hours for at least 3 hours each week.

β€’ Leverage online communication tools to build relationships and enhance student success.

β€’ Create a welcoming and supportive online community for students and their families.

β€’ Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Elementary, holding a valid state teaching certificate in TX, MI, or PA.

β€’ Completed a traditional teacher preparation program (not alternative certification) at an accredited college or university.

β€’ Bachelor’s degree is required.

β€’ Ability to obtain certification in other states upon request.

β€’ Deliver prompt student feedback and grade assessments within stipulated timeframes.

β€’ Participate in check-in meetings with the supervisor twice a month or as scheduled.

β€’ Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, prioritization, self-direction, and creativity.

β€’ Knowledge of IEP/504 plans and their virtual implementation.

β€’ Strong technology skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Apps is preferred.

β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

β€’ High attention to detail along with strong time management and organizational skills.

β€’ Customer-focused mindset and dedication to student success.
