Adjunct Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide expert leadership and support as an educator, mentor, role model, and facilitator.

• Establish an educational atmosphere that promotes innovation, accountability, and responsiveness.

• Enhance and update course materials and syllabi utilizing University protocols.

• Employ diverse teaching methods to demonstrate clear evidence of student learning outcomes.

• Exhibit passion for teaching, the educational process, and the success of individual students.

• Contribute to the assessment, evaluation, and critique of the curriculum.

• Oversee curriculum and syllabus updates as necessary while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Support Physician Assistant students within a student-focused, innovative learning environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-4 years of teaching experience at a University or College level, or previous designation as an assistant professor from a regionally accredited institution.

• Preferred teaching experience in Physician Assistant programs and a research focus on evidence-based clinical studies.

• Experience with online learning management systems is a plus.

• At least 3 years of documented experience as a practicing clinician.

• Established background in educational methodologies pertinent to teaching assignments, including educational theory and practice, up-to-date concepts related to subjects taught, current clinical practice experience, or distance education techniques and delivery.

• A terminal academic degree is required (Master’s degree); a doctorate is preferred.

• NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant or board-certified (or eligible) allopathic or osteopathic physician.

• Possession of a PA license (or eligibility), or MD/DO licensure or eligibility for licensure.
