Adjunct Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Offer professional leadership and guidance as an educator, mentor, role model, and facilitator.

• Establish an educational atmosphere that encourages innovation, accountability, and responsiveness.

• Enhance and refine course materials and syllabi in accordance with University protocols.

• Employ diverse teaching methods to provide clear evidence of student learning outcomes.

• Exhibit passion for teaching, the educational process, and the success of individual students.

• Contribute to the assessment, critique, and evaluation of the overall curriculum.

• Oversee revisions of curriculum and syllabi when necessary, ensuring high standards are met.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–4 years of teaching experience in a University or College environment, or previous designation as an assistant professor from a regionally accredited institution.

• Strongly preferred teaching experience in Physician Assistant courses and a research focus on evidence-based clinical research.

• Experience with online learning management systems is advantageous.

• Documented three years of experience as a practicing clinician.

• Proven background in educational methodology relevant to teaching assignments, including educational theory and practice, current subject-specific concepts, contemporary clinical practice experience, or distance education techniques and delivery.

• A terminal academic degree is required (Master’s degree); a doctorate is preferred.

• NCCPA certified Physician Assistant or board-certified (or eligible) allopathic or osteopathic physician.

• Possession of a PA license (or eligibility) or MD/DO license or eligibility for licensure.
