Adjunct Assistant Professor, Nursing PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Guide, inspire, and support the academic growth of nursing students.

• Offer assistance and educational support to students.

• Deliver assigned courses utilizing diverse teaching strategies.

• Engage in course, curriculum, and program evaluation activities.

• Aid in the enhancement of course materials and syllabi.

• Facilitate the achievement of designated student learning outcomes.

• Sustain scholarly activities.

• Involve in professional development and university service.

• Utilize university technologies and resources, including Simulation and Innovation Labs.

• In clinical environments, take responsibility for students in clinical settings.

• Clarify clinical expectations to students and clinical facility personnel.

• Guide students to resources for clinical readiness.

• Evaluate student knowledge and skills to ensure patient safety and quality care.

• Conduct pre- and post-conferences linking theory to clinical goals.

• Provide timely and ongoing feedback regarding clinical performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with online learning management systems.

• Adherence to state, federal, and local laws and regulations, including requirements from the state Board of Nursing.

• At least five years of prior experience as a registered nurse delivering direct patient care.

• A minimum of three years' experience in the relevant teaching field.

• Education and experience must comply with state regulations and requirements from the state authorization agency.

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.

• A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD is mandatory.

• Professional nursing licensure is required.
