Adjunct Assistant Professor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Offer professional leadership and support as an educator, mentor, role model, and facilitator.

• Enhance and update course materials and syllabi in accordance with University guidelines.

• Employ diverse teaching methodologies to ensure measurable evidence of student learning outcomes.

• Exhibit passion for teaching, the learning process, and for each individual student.

• Assist in the assessment, critique, and evaluation of the entire curriculum.

• Drive curriculum and syllabus updates as needed while maintaining high quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–4 years of teaching experience in a university or college environment, or previously held the rank of assistant professor at a regionally accredited institution.

• Preferred teaching experience in Physician Assistant courses and a developed research interest in evidence-based clinical research.

• Experience with online learning management systems is desirable.

• Proven 3 years of experience as a practicing clinician.

• Documented background in educational methodologies aligned with teaching assignments, including educational theory and practice, contemporary concepts related to subjects taught, current clinical practice experience, or techniques in distance education and its delivery.

• A terminal academic degree is required (Master’s degree); a doctorate is preferred.

• NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant or board-certified (or eligible) allopathic or osteopathic physician.

• PA license (or eligible) or MD/DO licensed or eligible for licensure.
