This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the representative for ANI’s PCG (Purified Cortrophin Gel) targeting Acute Gouty Arthritis among Primary Care, Family Practice, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians, as well as other healthcare professionals.
• Lead initiatives in market development, disease awareness, and patient identification strategies within the Atlanta East region and its surrounding areas.
• Advocate for ANI’s PCG by providing clinical education and strategically engaging with selected healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement territory-specific plans to enhance physician awareness, identify patients, and foster market growth.
• Provide education to providers and their staff regarding treatment access, insurance coverage, and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Support Services, and Medical Affairs to ensure a smooth onboarding process for patients and initiation of therapy.
• Keep thorough communication logs and follow-up documentation to maintain continuity of care.
• Conduct cold calls and engage with new accounts in Primary Care, Podiatry, and Orthopedics.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to guarantee logistical preparedness and patient support.
• Play a key role in establishing and expanding a new commercial presence within the growing Acute Care sector.
• Uphold compliance and integrity in all professional interactions.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales is required.
• Experience with Primary Care, Podiatry, or Orthopedic practices is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel overnight (40–60%) as dictated by territory needs.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
• A solid understanding of patient access, prior authorizations, and appeals processes is important.
• Familiarity with Gout flares, including their clinical presentation and treatment pathways.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to navigate complex insurance and documentation requirements.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in coordinating care among multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with specialty distribution and patient support services is advantageous.
