Actuarial Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in pricing strategies for low-complexity dental procedures and plans associated with the company’s brands.

• Assist with pricing analysis and low-complexity actuarial studies that require statistical and numerical evaluation, under ongoing supervision.

• Contribute to economic assessments of business operations and examine low-complexity contracts.

• Create spreadsheets and execute calculations for low-complexity products.

• Aid in crucial data analyses necessary for low-complexity actuarial computations.

• Formulate low-complexity statistical and actuarial methodologies applicable to health plans, under ongoing supervision.

• Prepare and help develop consistency tests for databases and methodologies.

• Assist in updating Actuarial Technical Notes, under ongoing supervision.

• Support analyses of the dental plan portfolio and calculations for dental plan adjustments.

• Construct basic database queries that contain information required for provision calculations.

• Execute other tasks pertinent to the role or assigned by the immediate supervisor, aligning with qualifications, expertise, and knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or in-progress undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level.

• Experience in programming and development with statistical software (SQL, SAS).

• Familiarity with technical provisions, cash flow forecasts, and data analysis is preferred.

• Experience with Power BI and programming is considered advantageous.
