📋 Description

• Develop robust predictive models to identify key factors influencing claims costs using Generalized Linear Models (GLMs) and Gradient Boosting Machines (GBMs).

• Work collaboratively with underwriters, claims, reserving teams, and other business stakeholders to grasp the commercial context of analyses.

• Build and nurture relationships, serving as a reliable point of contact for both internal and external clients.

• Ensure timely delivery of work that meets established accuracy standards.

• Conduct impact analyses to evaluate proposed changes in modeling approaches.

• Finalize statements regarding the aggregation of risk, including flood exposure mapped by postcode.

• Process, reconcile, cleanse, and prepare data for actuarial assessments.

• Enhance knowledge and skills through agreed-upon training and stay updated with technical, legal, and market trends.

• Uphold data quality and adhere to applicable governance regulations.

• Execute pricing initiatives and actuarial analyses for senior management and insurance partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Achieve a minimum grade of B in A-level Mathematics or an equivalent qualification.

• Possess strong statistical expertise.

• Exhibit advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, or actuarial software is advantageous.
