This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Process and record accounts receivable from designated private and governmental payers within the expected turnaround time.
• Enter electronic remittances, reports, macros, and tools into the billing system.
• Investigate payer websites to gather posting documentation.
• Reconcile files with the funds received.
• Identify issues and trends related to the assigned payers.
• Manage aged accounts receivable in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with leadership and partner teams to ensure precise and timely remittance processing.
• Handle high-volume transfers, adjustments/refunds, research, and communications.
• Assist with inventories and report any variances of possible concern.
• Adhere to departmental standard operating procedures and uphold department standards and quality expectations.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable.
• At least 1 year of experience with MS Excel.
• Experience working in an office environment or administration.
• Capability to manage time and tasks independently while sustaining productivity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working from home or in an office setting.
• Ability to achieve weekly and monthly production targets following training.
