Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of franchise accounts

• Track account specifics for non-payments and open or aged receivables

• Conduct a minimum of 50 phone calls daily to follow up on outstanding payments

• Collaborate with external customers to address billing inquiries

• Create aging reports for designated franchisees

• Organize conference calls with franchise owners to review open receivables and strategize on collecting outstanding funds

• Work alongside franchise owners, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers to resolve billing discrepancies and recover outstanding funds

• Comply with departmental policies and procedures

• Anticipate customer needs and promote exceptional customer service

• Support other departments as required during high-demand periods

• Perform additional duties as assigned to assist the team and the business

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in accounts receivable functions is preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required

• Familiarity with NetSuite is not essential, but the ability to learn new systems is crucial

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work proactively with department leaders and various management levels

• Competence in handling challenging situations related to collections

• Experience in the restoration industry is advantageous

• Detail-oriented and well-organized

• Strong relationship-building skills

• Comfortable managing a high volume of calls and adhering to a structured, process-oriented workflow

• Remains calm under pressure
