Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure the precision and dependability of financial statements in line with relevant standards and regulations.

• Calculate both direct and indirect taxes (IRPJ/CSLL and PIS/Cofins, respectively).

• Conduct reconciliations and analyses of all balance sheet and income statement accounts.

• Prepare the accounting close, monthly trial balances, management reports, and a comprehensive set of financial statements.

• Prepare and file SPED ECD and ECF submissions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Prior experience in an accounting firm.

• Capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Familiarity with the Totvs Protheus ERP system.

• Strong understanding of IFRS/CPC accounting standards.

• In-depth knowledge of companies operating under the Actual Profit and Presumed Profit tax regimes.

• Understanding of both cumulative and non-cumulative regimes for PIS and Cofins purposes.

• Proficiency in English is advantageous.
