Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle for a number of individual entrepreneurs (FOPs)

• Prepare and file tax declarations along with other necessary reports to the Ukrainian tax authorities

• Calculate and track tax payments, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and deadlines

• Calculate and execute monthly payment remittances to individual entrepreneurs and contractors

• Maintain precise accounting records and supporting financial documentation

• Stay informed on changes in Ukrainian tax legislation and implement necessary updates promptly

• Liaise with contractors and internal teams on matters related to accounting, taxation, and payments

• Assist with daily accounting operations and contribute to enhancing internal financial processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, ideally with individual entrepreneurs (FOPs)

• Comprehensive knowledge of Ukrainian tax laws and reporting obligations for FOPs

• Practical experience in preparing and submitting tax declarations and managing tax payments

• Familiarity with Diia.City is advantageous

• Experience in calculating and processing payments for contractors

• Proficient in accounting software, online banking systems, and Excel/Google Sheets

• Intermediate or higher proficiency in English

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational capabilities

• Capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines
