Account Specialist – Dermatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for key stakeholders and articulate AbbVie's value proposition.

• Implement the brand strategy in the field.

• Cultivate customer relationships and formulate account plans.

• Oversee customer engagement and selling strategies for targeted healthcare professionals across channels.

• Establish SMART pre-call objectives that align with territory and brand strategies.

• Address objections and secure a call to action or close sales during calls.

• Foster peer-to-peer relationships with customers.

• Provide education to medical providers, decision-makers, and associated healthcare professionals.

• Identify and nurture disease-state experts and advocacy.

• Collect market intelligence.

• Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings.

• Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition from that of competitors.

• Gain expertise in product, disease, market, and competitive intelligence.

• Review sales reports and field intelligence to refine territory plans.

• Collaborate with medical and market access teams to address customer needs and regional/national programs.

• Create and implement a territory business plan aligned with brand strategy.

• Identify and utilize resources to maximize sales opportunities.

• Comply with industry regulations and AbbVie’s compliance standards.

• Proactively devise a growth plan for current and future prospects.

• Share best practices to drive business success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales.

• Strong communication and customer engagement abilities.

• Capability to challenge existing norms.

• Solutions-oriented with a positive attitude.

• Strategic thinker with strong data analytics skills.

• Excellent collaborator and team player.

• Experience in Immunology and/or specialty secondary care is beneficial but not mandatory.

• ABPI qualification required.

• Valid driving license.

• Ability to navigate barriers within the NHS ecosystem.

• In-depth knowledge of product, disease, market, competitive intelligence, and the local NHS healthcare environment.
