This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for territory and accounts to meet or surpass annual sales goals.
• Take ownership of revenue growth, pipeline development, and overall commercial performance within the designated territory.
• Manage, nurture, and expand existing key accounts.
• Identify, assess, and secure new business opportunities in clinical laboratories and related customer segments.
• Establish relationships with laboratory managers, clinicians, procurement teams, technical specialists, and other key decision-makers.
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to comprehend customer applications, workflows, challenges, and requirements.
• Position clinical diagnostic solutions effectively and create compelling value propositions.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from negotiation to closing.
• Collaborate with Applications, Technical Service, Marketing, Customer Service, and other commercial teams.
• Keep accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer data in Salesforce.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments.
• Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and cultivate sustainable, long-term partnerships.
• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, or a related scientific field.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, ideally in clinical diagnostics, IVD, laboratory solutions, life sciences, medical technology, or healthcare.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing a sales territory.
• Experience in managing complex customer relationships and sales cycles.
• Experience with clinical laboratories, hospitals, or other diagnostic customers is highly desirable.
• Strong technical and scientific knowledge of customer applications and laboratory workflows.
• Excellent consultative selling, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and capability to develop new business opportunities.
• Ability to forge trusted, long-term relationships with customers.
• Robust analytical, strategic planning, and territory management skills.
• Results-driven, proactive, and accountable approach to sales.
• Capability to work independently within a cross-functional and matrixed organization.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–75% within the assigned territory.
• Fluent German is essential (C1 level or above).
