This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Act as the primary point of contact between designated U.S. healthcare clients and Benchmark operational teams.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with physicians, practice administrators, office managers, and other key stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular operational meetings, client reviews, and discussions regarding revenue cycle performance.
• Convey revenue cycle insights, recommendations, and action strategies.
• Recognize client issues, reimbursement risks, aging trends, and operational obstacles.
• Enhance client satisfaction, retention, revenue performance, and continuous process enhancements.
• Manage assigned client revenue cycle performance and accounts receivable results.
• Track and evaluate accounts receivable, days in A/R, aging inventory, collection rates, net collection percentages, denial rates, clean claim rates, first-pass resolution rates, underpayment trends, and payer performance metrics.
• Examine revenue cycle trends and suggest strategies to optimize reimbursement and cash flow.
• Assess outstanding A/R inventories and pinpoint opportunities to expedite collections.
• Investigate payer issues and identify root causes of denials, payment discrepancies, and A/R delays.
• Coordinate corrective action plans and escalate reimbursement challenges.
• Collaborate with Billing, Coding, Accounts Receivable, Payment Posting, Credentialing, Prior Authorization, and Patient Advocacy teams.
• Oversee the resolution of payer issues, denials, appeals, reimbursement difficulties, and urgent client matters.
• Assist with onboarding, workflow implementation, process improvement efforts, and client-specific initiatives.
• Advocate for the effective use of technology and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• At least five (5) years of experience in U.S. Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
• A minimum of two (2) years supporting physician practices, medical groups, ambulatory providers, or healthcare management entities.
• An Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or relevant healthcare certification is preferred.
• Prior client-facing experience in account management, operations management, revenue cycle management, or relationship management.
• Proven experience managing accounts receivable performance and revenue cycle enhancement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Familiarity with medical billing and claims processing.
• Understanding of accounts receivable follow-up and collections strategies.
• Knowledge of denials management and appeals procedures.
• Awareness of commercial payer reimbursement methodologies.
• Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
• Familiarity with managed care plans.
• Knowledge of provider credentialing and enrollment processes.
• Awareness of HIPAA compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Practice Management Systems and EHR platforms.
• Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based providers and executive stakeholders.
• Experience in conducting client meetings and presenting operational performance analyses.
• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple client relationships concurrently.
