This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify organizations with current or anticipated hiring requirements.
• Generate promising leads for direct-hire, contract, temporary staffing, or outsourced talent acquisition opportunities.
• Execute targeted outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, professional networks, referral sources, industry associations, and approved channels.
• Utilize Apollo, LinkedIn, market-intelligence platforms, company websites, and industry sources to discover organizations, contacts, hiring activities, and opportunities.
• Investigate business owners, executives, HR leaders, talent acquisition leaders, operations leaders, and hiring managers.
• Create and implement strategies to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified companies and staffing opportunities.
• Secure discovery meetings with potential clients.
• Identify roles, hiring challenges, recruitment needs, and workforce gaps that HYRE HARPER Co. can assist with.
• Guide prospects through outreach, discovery, proposal, contract execution, and client onboarding processes.
• Build referral relationships and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct discovery meetings addressing hiring models, recruitment challenges, internal resources, budgets, timelines, and business goals.
• Suggest outsourced recruiting, direct hire, temporary staffing, contract staffing, project-based recruiting, or blended solutions.
• Articulate business value, anticipated outcomes, and return on investment.
• Present the company’s veteran-led mission and military talent capabilities when applicable.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with business owners, executives, HR professionals, hiring managers, and operational leaders.
• Act as the primary sales contact throughout prospecting and client development.
• Maintain follow-up communication with potential and existing clients.
• Assist in transitioning from signed agreements to recruiting kickoff and service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for account expansion across positions, departments, locations, or service offerings.
• Support client satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and generate referrals.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, capability overviews, proposals, and solution recommendations.
• Coordinate internal pricing, service scope, recruiting capacity, and delivery expectations.
• Assist in negotiations regarding recruiting fees, staffing markups, service terms, position requirements, and client expectations.
• Adhere to company approval protocols before making commitments related to pricing, legal terms, service guarantees, or delivery timelines.
• Ensure all agreements and documentation are finalized prior to transitioning opportunities to the recruiting team.
• Utilize HubSpot as the official CRM for leads, contacts, companies, sales activities, opportunities, forecasting, and client relationship management.
• Document communications, discovery notes, decision-makers, hiring needs, lead sources, proposal status, expected contract value, anticipated close date, and next steps.
• Keep opportunity stages, contact records, follow-up activities, and pipeline forecasts up to date.
• Use ZOHO Recruit to facilitate the handoff of signed clients, approved job orders, recruiting requirements, and related talent-acquisition activities.
• Employ company-approved Microsoft applications for email, meetings, communication, file management, presentations, and collaboration.
• Track hiring trends, labor-market conditions, industry growth, competitor activities, and workforce challenges.
• Transform market intelligence into targeted sales campaigns and viable business-development opportunities.
• Relay client and market feedback to leadership and the recruiting team.
• Collaborate with recruiters to ensure opportunities are well-defined, realistic, and actionable.
• Provide job requirements, compensation, location, hiring timeline, decision-makers, interview processes, and client expectations.
• Communicate client feedback and evolving requirements in a timely manner.
• Participate in sales and recruiting coordination meetings.
• Aid in ensuring a smooth transition from sales to recruiting delivery.
• Meet established activity, pipeline, revenue, documentation, reporting, and performance expectations.
• A minimum of two years of experience in staffing sales, recruiting services, talent acquisition sales, workforce solutions, or a closely related business-development role.
• Proven understanding of revenue generation through direct hire, contract staffing, temporary staffing, retained recruiting, or outsourced talent acquisition services.
• Demonstrated ability to independently prospect and generate new business without solely relying on company-provided leads.
• Experience in building relationships with business owners, executives, HR leaders, talent acquisition professionals, operations leaders, or hiring managers.
• Strong skills in discovery, presentation, negotiation, and relationship development.
• Capability to articulate complex recruiting or workforce services in clear business terminology.
• Familiarity with using a CRM to document activities, manage opportunities, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, or similar Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while meeting established sales expectations.
• Strong written communication, follow-up, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Must currently reside in the United States.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred: experience selling outsourced recruitment, recruitment process outsourcing, project recruiting, direct-hire placement, temporary staffing, or contract staffing services.
• Preferred: experience using HubSpot.
• Preferred: experience using ZOHO Recruit or another applicant tracking system.
• Preferred: experience utilizing Apollo, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, contact intelligence tools, or related prospecting platforms.
• Preferred: existing professional relationships that may yield qualified staffing or talent acquisition opportunities.
• Preferred: experience selling into healthcare, hospitality, logistics, government contracting, professional services, or other high-demand industries.
• Preferred: experience working with veteran-owned businesses, military transition programs, government contractors, or military-affiliated organizations.
• Preferred: experience developing strategic partnerships and referral channels.
• Comfortable using HubSpot CRM, ZOHO Recruit ATS, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive, LinkedIn, Apollo, and approved sales and market-intelligence platforms.
• Personal spreadsheets or independent tracking systems do not substitute for required documentation in company-designated systems.
• Commission-only compensation with tiered commission rates: 2.00% for qualifying contracts with Annual Contract Value of $1,000,000 or less; 2.50% for contracts exceeding $1,000,000 up to $5,000,000; 3.25% for contracts over $5,000,000 up to $10,000,000; 4.00% for contracts exceeding $10,000,000.
• An additional quarterly commission bonus may be available when defined sales procedures, documentation requirements, activity expectations, and company standards are met.
