This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve sales targets through acquiring new bookings, renewals, and expansion revenue within the South Texas territory and designated portfolio.
• Manage and nurture school district accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Drive customer acquisition and expansion via outbound prospecting, referrals, and incoming inquiries.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle, which includes prospecting, discovery, consultative selling, presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Create tailored solutions that address district requirements in special education and mental health service delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor and primary contact for stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation processes with internal teams.
• Manage escalations and coordinate resources to effectively resolve issues.
• Prepare and present proposals and presentations to district leadership and decision-makers.
• Maintain pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using Salesforce.
• Monitor account health and performance metrics, including renewals, pipeline activity, and revenue growth.
• Stay updated on K-12 trends, funding changes, and the competitive landscape.
• Travel as necessary for customer engagement and business development.
• Report to the VP of Revenue and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• 3–5+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles.
• At least 1+ year of experience in K-12 sales, specifically selling to school districts and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes.
• Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience managing the complete sales cycle and developing both new and existing accounts.
• Strong outbound prospecting abilities along with disciplined pipeline management skills.
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve customer outcomes.
• Proficient negotiator capable of handling objections and closing deals effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Edtech experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Availability during Core Working Hours, Monday–Friday, 12–5 p.m. ET, with standard business hours of 9 a.m.–6 p.m. local time.
• Approximately 30–50% travel is required.
