This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will take charge of producing captivating and compelling short-form vertical videos lasting 15-60 seconds that engage our audience, featuring content that is current and aligned with the latest trends in the Minecraft universe as well as the wider social media and pop culture landscape.

• Capability to replicate established editing styles: Eystreem & Firelight.

• Comprehension of cuts, flow, and tempo variations to eliminate any "Dead Space" in videos while being mindful of the "Pace" to keep viewer interest high throughout.

• Staying informed about the Minecraft community and social media and pop culture trends, integrating fresh and pertinent elements into video edits.

• Knowledge and application of music effectively, including BPM (beats per minute) considerations, the appropriate use of different genres, and seamless transitions between them.

• Proficient use of sound effects (SFX), knowing when, where, and what to add for enhancing immersion and narrative depth.

• Effective use of visual effects (VFX), including keyframing, color grading, footage ingestion, and other techniques to elevate production quality and storytelling capabilities.

• Coordinating content distribution across various platforms.

• Collaborating with team members by sharing ideas, feedback, and assets to collectively enhance the success of video content.

• Employing communication tools such as Monday.com and Discord to work with the team, share edits, and coordinate efficiently.

• Managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and produce high-quality videos promptly, while continuously seeking to enhance editing skills and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical experience in video editing.

• Proficient in using YouTube Analytics and key metrics like Average View Duration (AVD), Click-Through Rate (CTR), AVD in the first 30 seconds, and Impressions, showing a thorough understanding.

• Skilled in the application of both Sound Effects (SFX) and Visual Effects (VFX) to improve video quality and storytelling.

• Outstanding communication skills and proactive involvement in team dynamics.

• Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro for smooth editing workflows.

• Proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines and effectively managing project timelines.

• Demonstrated ability to incorporate feedback constructively and adjust editing methods accordingly.

• Extensive knowledge of social media and pop culture trends, particularly concerning the Minecraft community.

• Proficient in applying Look-Up Tables (LUTs) and Color Correction techniques to enhance visual appeal.

• Ideally, experience in timecode syncing for precise editing synchronization.
