Senior Medical Sciences Liaison – Mid West

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold a robust understanding of scientific and medical knowledge in the specified therapeutic area(s) and/or disease state(s) associated with AQST products.

• Identify, nurture, and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) continuously to support company goals while bolstering AQST's image as a scientifically innovative industry collaborator.

• Accurately interpret and disseminate balanced and factual scientific, clinical, and health economic data in a compliant manner.

• Lead initiatives in recognizing, developing, and integrating KOL contributions and insights into areas of interest and AQST's programs.

• Spot opportunities for growth and the generation of medical contributions to support or expand existing programs and therapies.

• Collect and assess new information relevant to AQST products and therapeutic interests.

• Deliver project support aligned with established objectives.

• Provide assistance for unsolicited inquiries regarding medical information.

• Support significant initiatives such as continuing medical education (CME) programs and investigator-initiated research projects.

• Manage a defined geographic territory, fostering relationships with priority KOLs in both academic and community settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctoral level degree in a medical or scientific field is required (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, DNP, or equivalent).

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a relevant pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry role, or in healthcare, is required.

• Experience in allergy/immunology is highly preferred, with pediatric experience being a plus.

• Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including overnight trips and weekends as needed.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build relationships effectively.

• Excellent presentation and writing skills.
