Digital Advanced Clinical Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual consultations utilizing our user-friendly platform, providing exceptional care to our patients.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients on our digital platform.

• Operate within your professional scope at all times, being responsible and accountable for your decisions and actions in accordance with organizational policies.

• Perform thorough remote patient assessments, establish precise diagnoses, and formulate suitable treatment plans remotely.

• Communicate effectively: Foster rapport with patients through strong communication skills, demonstrating emotional intelligence and ensuring a positive patient experience.

• Comply with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's "A Competency Framework for all Prescribers".

• Guarantee accurate and prompt documentation of all consultations in patient health records.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development, along with training and clinical supervision to enhance your expertise.

• Actively participate in quality assurance initiatives and service enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant registration with a professional body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC).

• Postgraduate diploma (Level 7) or Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice, or through formal accreditation or credentialing aligned with the regulatory framework for advanced practice.

• A valid IR(ME)R certificate obtained within the last 3 years.

• The Fit Note (FIT) training certificate.

• Qualification in independent prescribing.

• Minor illness training qualification (Desirable).

• At least 2 years of experience as an ACP independently prescribing (post ACP qualification) in an NHS Primary Care Setting or general practice within the last 5 years.

• A broad autonomous scope of practice developed in a general practice setting, as outlined in the Core Capabilities for Advanced Clinical Practice framework.

• Comprehensive knowledge of national prescribing policies and guidelines, with an understanding of working within the scope of professional practice.

• Understanding of clinical governance principles as they relate to remote working and digital healthcare (Desirable).

• Proficiency with clinical IT systems, preferably with Jira and Teams/Slack.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Dedication to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the capacity to proficiently document patient consultations per organizational policies and national guidelines.

• Ability to identify individual learning needs and proactively seek professional development opportunities in line with local and national frameworks (e.g., NMC revalidation requirements).

• Capability to act as a professional role model, embodying organizational values and behaviors.

• Skill in sharing knowledge and evidence-based insights to support team development and quality care (Desirable).

• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (Desirable).
