• Take ownership of and expand the youth sports segment, generating new business opportunities with clubs, leagues, and state/national associations.
• Besides sports, this position will seek opportunities with youth-serving organizations to enhance RealResponse’s existing client portfolio, which includes Scouting America and the Salvation Army.
• Develop and oversee a robust pipeline through proactive outreach, building industry relationships, and strategic prospecting.
• Conduct consultative sales discussions with executive stakeholders such as Executive Directors, Commissioners, and Safety & Compliance leaders.
• Showcase RealResponse’s platform across essential use cases—such as safety & integrity, real-time event visibility, and communication workflows—and grow accounts over time.
• Assist in defining and refining repeatable sales processes across various segments of the youth sports market.
• Secure new business, negotiate contracts, and consistently meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Represent RealResponse at significant industry events, conferences, and association meetings.
• Collaborate closely with marketing on segment strategies, including enhancing sales enablement through messaging collaboration and content creation.
• Work in conjunction with product/engineering and customer success teams to ensure effective onboarding, retention, and account expansion.
• Keep an accurate pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools.
• Establish a clear and repeatable sales process across youth sports segments.
• Broaden RealResponse’s reach from early adopters to wider adoption among leagues, governing bodies, and other youth-focused organizations.
• Build strong, trustworthy relationships throughout the ecosystem.
• Contribute to the long-term strategy for how RealResponse engages with this market.
• Over 5 years of sales experience, preferably within youth sports, sports tech, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of how youth sports organizations function at the club, league, or governing body level.
• Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline and close deals in ambiguous or emerging markets.
• Experience selling in multi-stakeholder environments and navigating complex purchasing processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with executive-level decision-makers.
• Self-motivated individual who excels in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• A passion for youth sports and enhancing the experience for athletes, families, and organizations.
• Preferred: Established relationships within youth sports, including soccer or related sports ecosystems.
• Experience in defining or scaling a new market or vertical.
• Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission (OTE based on experience).
