• Accountable for driving sales of capital and consumable product portfolios that address respiratory surgical complications within the Operating Room and at the C-Suite level in hospitals.
• Spearhead the development of territory opportunities and activities, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual projections.
• Hold sole responsibility for delivering precise forecasts to the Regional Business Manager for each reporting period concerning their territory.
• Identify, qualify, prepare, and implement effective sales strategies to sustain the existing business base and facilitate competitive and revenue growth opportunities.
• Probe, cultivate, and finalize all related product sales inquiries and leads with current customers in the assigned geographic territory.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the regionally aligned field sales team to generate incremental RMS revenue and meet sales targets.
• Develop, negotiate, finalize, and manage profitable agreements.
• Utilize and update sales tools effectively to accurately monitor trends in the existing business base, formulate call strategies, and manage territory and strategic business plans.
• Deliver strategic messaging effectively across various settings, including trade shows, presentations, and board meetings.
• Provide consultation on product features and benefits, promote value messaging, and offer clinical support.
• Lead the local team in coordinating and supporting clinical evaluations and pre-sales assistance.
• Conduct post-sales activities such as implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing support.
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships to understand, align, and support customer initiatives.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of related products and applications.
• Possess a thorough understanding of related programs and value-added offerings.
• Efficiently and cost-effectively utilize Specialist and Clinical resources to optimize the sales process.
• Notify the Regional Business Manager and local area team members of new account opportunities.
• Complete all assigned projects and administrative tasks promptly.
• Consistently adhere to all Vendor Credentialing requirements.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of experience* or Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience* or Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience*.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical roles, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience paired with a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of documented sales success (quota achievement) in medical capital equipment and/or consumables.
• Minimum of 1 year in a team-selling environment.
• Experience in selling within the acute care hospital operating room setting.
• Ability to swiftly compile contracts supported by a financial business case.
• Proven track record of success in complex sales and clinical scenarios.
• Strong proficiency with computers and business applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of the sales process.
• Insight into the medical sales industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; exceptional client interaction capabilities.
