This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and develop the river cruise revenue management function, implementing best-practice processes, governance, and tools.
• Create and execute comprehensive pricing, yield, and inventory strategies for all sailings, cabins, itineraries, markets, and distribution channels.
• Collaborate with Deployment Planning to synchronize pricing strategies with capacity planning and fleet deployment.
• Take ownership of fare-setting, cabin category pricing, promotional strategies, discounting guidelines, and override governance.
• Oversee daily and strategic inventory decisions, including cabin optimization, holds, group allotments, and over/under-allocation across channels.
• Ensure the accurate and timely setup of products, pricing, promotions, and offers across all systems.
• Develop precise and dynamic demand forecasts by sailing, itinerary, region, and channel.
• Analyze market trends, competitive pricing, pace, and historical performance to inform revenue decisions.
• Design and maintain dashboards to monitor load factor, revenue per guest, yield, pace, and promotional effectiveness.
• Partner with Sales and D2C Marketing to ensure that pricing and offers align with channel strategy, revenue goals, and the overall Trafalgar revenue plan.
• Work collaboratively with the Touring Yield & Revenue Team to enhance cross-selling opportunities.
• Coordinate with Product, Operations, and Uniworld to ensure that the commercial plan reflects guest value, cost structures, and operational considerations.
• Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Assist in developing the onboard revenue strategy, which includes excursions, drinks packages, experiences, retail, and future concessions.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in revenue management or yield management within the cruise, travel, or hospitality sectors.
• Proven success in building or transforming a revenue management function.
• Experience in managing pricing and inventory in a multi-channel, multi-region setting.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue, yield, and load factor targets.
• Experience working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance in a matrixed or functional organization.
• Highly analytical mindset with an advanced ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Expert knowledge of pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and yield optimization.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with revenue management platforms (cruise, hospitality, or travel RM systems).
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
• Advanced skills in Power BI and Excel (including pivot tables, modeling, and automation).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• International travel required – Up to 10% domestic and international travel (ship visits, product reviews, supplier/partner meetings)
