This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, leading hiring teams to source, screen, interview, and extend offers to qualified candidates.
• Manage performance evaluations for team members, including coaching discussions, formal coaching plans, and performance improvement plans (PIPs), ensuring alignment with People Ops and leadership prior to any formal actions.
• Foster a positive team culture by planning proactive employee engagement initiatives and addressing conflicts that may disrupt the work environment.
• Facilitate the training and onboarding process for new hires to ensure effective ramp-up, while providing continuous learning and growth opportunities, advocating for each team member's development.
• Lead team-related projects by thoroughly scoping, establishing timelines and resource requirements, organizing meetings, delegating tasks, collaborating across departments, and communicating project goals, updates, and challenges effectively.
• Oversee the pipeline and workload for all team members to ensure high levels of performance across the board.
• Collaborate with the Processing Team Lead on daily pipeline execution, file reallocation, and onboarding processes, maintaining a clear distinction between Team Lead coaching duties and managerial performance actions.
• Take ownership of developing, implementing, and modifying policies and procedures.
• Align company-wide objectives with departmental action items quarterly, steering both departmental and individual contributor goals.
• Analyze relevant data to produce insightful findings and present them to leadership.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and team member inquiries, ensuring quality control and identifying teachable moments within the team.
• Conduct regular audits of call communications to evaluate quality, clarity of requests, and homeowner experience, using insights to coach and develop individual processors.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in loan processing.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a high-performing team.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects from conception through to execution.
• Proficient in writing effective policies and procedures.
• Capable of managing performance, resolving conflicts, and providing feedback to team members who may be underperforming.
• Skilled in managing change effectively through both upward and downward communication.
• Proven leadership abilities, including having constructive discussions, setting and achieving deadlines, proactively communicating challenges and changes within the department, and consistently relaying information across all management levels.
• Ability to make decisions based on data analysis.
