📋 Description

• The Yemeni Arabic Telephone Interpreter is tasked with managing calls on demand, facilitating conversations between Yemeni Arabic and English speakers.

• This role eliminates communication barriers across various sectors that LanguageLine Solutions caters to: Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, General Business, Law Enforcement, Court, and 911.

• Ensure punctuality and availability throughout designated work hours.

• Adhere to client instructions and protocols to meet client expectations effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both Yemeni Arabic and English, with a strong understanding of relevant cultural nuances.

• Capability to demonstrate cultural competency and recognize regional and accent variations to effectively communicate with Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals.

• Strong listening, retention, and note-taking abilities to ensure a high level of accuracy during interpretation sessions.

• Competence in maintaining focus, detaching from the conversation, and remaining neutral and objective at all times.

• Educational background or professional experience in language-related fields such as teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation is preferred.

• Must be adaptable to any technological enhancements from LLS that improve service delivery and align with client needs.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
