Freelance Translator – English to Spanish (US)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and enhance machine-translated content from English (US) to Spanish (US)

• Augment the precision, fluency, and overall quality of machine-generated translations

• Guarantee that the final text flows naturally as though composed by a native speaker

• Produce high-quality results within tight deadlines

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field with substantial translation training

• Bilingual fluency in both English (US) and Spanish (US)

• Strong skills in localization along with an understanding of the cultural nuances of both languages

• Experience with medical terminology pertinent to the US market

• Background in post-editing machine translation and/or localization

• Familiarity with machine translation (MT) and large language model (LLM) technologies

• Proficient in computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, especially memoQ
