Interpreter – At Home Hourly Trainer

📋 Description

• Deliver New Hire Training to newly recruited VIs utilizing the approved Curriculum.

• Collaborate with the Training Department and other relevant staff to support and train existing VIs across the company.

• Serve as a role model and primary contact for inquiries regarding VI policies, procedures, troubleshooting, and best practices.

• Bring inquiries to the Training Department when necessary.

• Offer remote assistance to the training team in a dynamic virtual environment.

• Work in VRS, meeting all expectations of Video Interpreters when not engaged in training.

• Occasional travel may be required to deliver training in various locations.

• Additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Full-time status is mandatory.

• Prior experience in instruction or training is highly preferred.

• National Certification is strongly desirable.

• Currently or recently employed as a Video Interpreter for Purple or ZVRS.

• Must have been employed by Purple or ZVRS for at least 3 months.

• Availability to work a variety of schedules, including nights and/or weekends (across all time zones), is required.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• A comprehensive understanding of all current VRS applications and equipment is essential.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

• Ability to recognize and adapt to different learning styles.

• Proficient in utilizing diverse instructional methods to enhance training effectiveness.

• Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment is necessary.

• A positive attitude is essential.

• Strong planning, organizational, and presentation skills are required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must.

• Comfortable with technology and capable of troubleshooting issues.
