xECM Solutions Architect for SAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and execute OpenText Extended ECM solutions that integrate seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite.

• Create architectural frameworks that unify structured SAP data with unstructured content.

• Develop tailored OpenText ECM workspaces for areas including procurement, employee records, and asset lifecycle management.

• Integrate OpenText Extended ECM with SAP through SAP ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, APIs, and middleware solutions.

• Formulate strategies for data and document archiving within SAP environments.

• Collaborate with SAP teams across various functions such as finance, HR, procurement, and engineering processes.

• Manage the lifecycles of unstructured content, including metadata, classification, governance, and compliance with records management.

• Implement automated workflows for invoice processing, HR onboarding, and engineering document management.

• Lead deployments across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid models utilizing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud integrations.

• Ensure alignment of ECM solutions with SAP RISE and GROW initiatives.

• Design custom solutions and automate workflows using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or ABAP.

• Implement AI-driven features like OpenText Content Aviator and SAP Joule.

• Oversee blueprinting, architecture, installation, configuration, and testing for SAP ECM projects.

• Utilize OpenText Fastrack or comparable implementation frameworks.

• Manage the migration of legacy ECM data and ensure compatibility with SAP updates.

• Lead and mentor implementation teams while coordinating with Professional Services, SAP Basis, developers, and business analysts.

• Engage with business stakeholders to identify content management requirements and enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

• Report directly to the Director of Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise content management, SAP integrations, or related sectors.

• Proven hands-on experience in implementing OpenText Extended ECM for SAP solutions.

• Extensive experience with OpenText Extended ECM alongside SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, and data/document archiving strategies.

• Proficient in content management best practices, metadata management, and compliance standards.

• Experience working with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Programming expertise in Java, JavaScript, ABAP, or low-code/no-code configurations within OpenText tools.

• Ability to align SAP business processes with content management needs across finance, HR, procurement, plant maintenance, and other functions.

• Expertise in SAP FI, PM, PS, and MM business processes.

• Strong understanding of OpenText Fastrack or similar design and implementation frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, leadership, mentoring, and adaptability skills.

• Preferred OpenText or SAP certifications are highly desirable.
