This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Participate in significant Finance initiatives by examining financial data, creating dashboards, streamlining reporting processes, and assisting in strategic projects such as system implementations and data migrations.
• Deliver trustworthy insights to stakeholders that facilitate informed, data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
• Act as a hands-on analyst transforming raw exports (e.g., DATEV, CRM) into organized tables and actionable insights.
• Design lightweight data pipelines (SQL/Sheets), establish definitions, and prepare documentation for self-service key views.
• Assist FP&A with forecasts, ad-hoc analyses, and the introduction of tools/data migrations (including mapping, test cases, and reconciliation).
• Ensure efficient month-end and year-end support through straightforward reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Abacum, Looker, or Claude, and create simple automations to boost productivity and minimize manual tasks.
• Analyze trends in revenue, usage, and spending, and communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional analysts (Product, Sales, Marketing, Revenue Ops) to ensure alignment on metrics and data standards.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Data, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, or a related field).
• Available for 15–20 hours per week.
• Previous internship or working student experience in Data, Analytics, BI, Finance Systems, or a similar analytical and technical role.
• Proficient in SQL/Python and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Possess curiosity, structured problem-solving skills, dependability, and discretion with financial data (GDPR compliant).
• Capable of thinking in systems and process improvements; appreciate organized schemas, clear definitions, and reproducible workflows.
• Tech-savvy with experience in Looker (or similar BI tools), Google AppScript, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake).
• Proficient in English (B2+); knowledge of German is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or Accounting systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, DATEV, or similar) is advantageous.
