Working Student Finance & Controlling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for the finance domain and carry out operational tasks independently.

• Maintain the Profit and Loss statement, ensuring that planned versus actual figures are current and discrepancies are identified.

• Develop and continuously refine cash flow planning.

• Compile monthly reports for stakeholders, including owners and advisory boards.

• Manage monthly accounting tasks in DATEV and collaborate directly with the tax advisor.

• Conduct financial analyses on product launches, marketing investments, and scaling decisions.

• Proactively enhance finance processes, automate where feasible, and address process gaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Accounting, Controlling, Auditing, or Business Informatics with a finance emphasis.

• Ideally in or beyond the 4th semester of study.

• A strong enthusiasm for numbers, with a keen interest in Profit and Loss statements, forecasts, and financial models.

• Eagerness to take on responsibilities from day one.

• Prior practical experience in a tax firm, auditing, controlling, or accounting is considered a significant advantage.

• Proficient skills in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Familiarity with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH functions.

• Experience with DATEV is welcome but not mandatory.

• Capacity to work independently and with reliability.
