Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and evaluate diverse data sources

• Generate reports and dashboards

• Offer financial assistance to business owners

• Examine revenue and expense patterns utilizing descriptive analytics and data visualization

• Engage in annual budgeting and forecasting processes

• Collaborate with business departments to enhance their understanding and management of financial obligations

• Aid departments in formulating a roadmap for upcoming financial commitments

• Provide support for program profitability reporting, along with financial data and analysis for both organizational and departmental decision-making

• Help with variance analysis comparing actual performance to budgeted expectations

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• Over 3 years of experience in cost accounting/service line analysis; experience in healthcare is preferred

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Capability to create narrative and written summaries that clearly synthesize recommendations and conclusions

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with a quick aptitude for learning new technologies

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships

• Successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screening, and background check

• Compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification
