This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborate with the CAO, CFO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board of Directors on overarching financial strategies for the enterprise.
• Oversee the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
• Create budgets, forecasts, workforce plans, capital plans, and extensive financial strategies in conjunction with functional leaders.
• Manage Board and executive-level reporting, providing insights, identifying risks, uncovering opportunities, and offering recommendations.
• Propel EBITDA growth, optimize cash flow, and enhance enterprise value.
• Direct the Global SG&A Finance Business Partner organization across various corporate functions.
• Counsel SG&A executive leaders, assess investments, challenge assumptions, and influence critical business decisions.
• Set SG&A expenditure targets, track performance, pinpoint risks and opportunities, and suggest necessary corrective measures.
• Standardize finance business partnering methodologies, KPIs, reporting structures, and governance frameworks.
• Create executive dashboards, KPIs, and scenario modeling tools.
• Assess and prioritize technology investments, resource optimization strategies, digital transformations, and organizational redesign efforts.
• Conduct financial evaluations for acquisitions, capital distribution, enterprise investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Spearhead finance transformation utilizing automation, AI, advanced analytics, and contemporary planning systems.
• Build and nurture a high-performing Global FP&A and Financial Business Partner organization.
• Assist in M&A due diligence, integration planning, and performance management following acquisitions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
• More than 8 years of experience leading global FP&A and/or Finance Business Partner teams.
• Background in a CRO, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare services organization.
• Proven track record in supporting acquisitions, integrations, enterprise growth, and executive business partnerships.
• Executive presence characterized by outstanding communication and influencing abilities.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong commercial and operational insight.
• Expertise in advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and business analytics.
• Capability to influence senior executives without direct authority.
• Experience in leading finance transformation and implementing organizational change.
• Proficient in presenting to executive leadership, Boards of Directors, and private equity sponsors.
• An MBA and/or CPA is highly preferred.
• Experience with a leveraged private equity-backed company is strongly preferred.
