Workforce & Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Ensure that working hour conditions, overtime, and shift structures are accurately implemented across the organization, encompassing all relevant roles and employment arrangements, in accordance with internal policies and local labor regulations.

• Analyze trends in labor costs, payroll expenses, and budget variances.

• Investigate discrepancies in payroll, reconcile workforce data across various systems, and coordinate the resolution of exceptions prior to payroll processing.

• Conduct absenteeism analysis and evaluate its operational and financial implications.

• Prepare operational and financial reports and dashboards related to the workforce.

• Consolidate and verify sales performance data for commission reporting.

• Offer leadership strategic insights on workforce optimization and cost management.

• Review and approve payroll reports for payment, along with other financial reports as assigned by the Finance Controller. (Note: This role does not involve payroll calculations or the execution of payments.)

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, accompanied by 2+ years of professional experience.

• Strong understanding of Colombian payroll processes and labor cost structures.

• Proficient in advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas (INDEX/XLOOKUP), data validation, and managing large datasets.

• Experience with HRIS, time management, or payroll systems is highly preferred.

• Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret extensive datasets and convert them into actionable insights.

• Strong working proficiency in English.

• Excellent analytical judgment with the capability to identify inconsistencies, question data accuracy, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective measures.

• Experience in preparing and validating financial and payroll-related reports.

• High attention to detail and a strong mindset for data validation and control.

• Experience in building Power BI dashboards is strongly preferred.

• Ability to collaborate across functions with Operations, HR, Finance, and external providers.
