This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Providing professionals with details regarding hospital programs
• Creating opportunities for the training and education of healthcare professionals
• Developing service contracts between the hospital, Workers Compensation referrals, and payer sources
• Educating insurance, case management, and medical professionals
• Conducting evaluations of potential BNN patients in both remote and in-person settings
• Offering advocacy, support, and education to families of potential BNN patients
• Coordinating the admission process of potential patients with external referral sources and funding
• Overseeing the administrative aspects of the funding approval process as required by Workers Compensation insurance payers
• Initiating the prospecting of potential new referral and funding sources through continuous outreach activities
• Maintaining existing relationships through consistent contact and customer service
• Representing BNN at local, regional, and national conferences to enhance and expand its presence in the brain injury community
• Coordinating conference activities with BNN speakers to ensure continued exposure
• Representing the BNN program at assigned functions, meetings, and activities
• Performing other duties as directed by the supervisor
• A bachelor’s degree is required
• RN designation is preferred
• Eligibility or maintenance of CRNN/CCM certification and credentials
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Must have knowledge of specialized healthcare systems primarily related to mental health, TBI, neuro-rehabilitation, disability, and case management practices
• Familiarity with Workers Compensation and reimbursement issues
• Competent in administering, scoring, and interpreting necessary psychometric instruments, conducting face-to-face evaluations with individuals suffering from severe brain injuries, and reviewing and integrating medical and rehabilitation information for patient assessment and admissions considerations
• A valid driver’s license is required
