Workday Reporting Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead consulting engagements focused on Workday Reporting & Analytics.

• Design and develop Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reports in Workday.

• Create and maintain Calculated Fields, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.

• Perform data integration, transformation, modeling, and analytics with Workday Prism Analytics.

• Utilize Workday Business Objects, Data Sources, and Security Domains effectively.

• Troubleshoot issues related to reporting defects, data quality, performance problems, and access/security gaps.

• Establish and adhere to data governance and reporting standards.

• Collect business requirements and convert them into scalable reporting solutions within Workday.

• Collaborate directly with HR, Finance, IT, Operations, and senior business stakeholders.

• Act as a techno-functional consultant, blending technical/reporting expertise with business-facing/functional work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of overall experience, including 5 years of direct involvement with Workday Reporting & Analytics.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Reporting & Analytics.

• Significant experience in Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, and Composite Reports.

• Strong practical knowledge of Calculated Fields.

• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics in areas such as data integration, transformation, modeling, and analytics.

• In-depth understanding of Workday Business Objects, Data Sources, and Security Domains.

• Proven experience in building dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.

• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM.

• Experience in troubleshooting reporting defects, data quality issues, performance challenges, and security/access issues.

• Familiarity with data governance and reporting standards.

• Capacity to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday reporting solutions.

• Excellent stakeholder-facing and communication skills are essential.

• Professional fluency in English is required.

• Experience with Workday Financials and/or PSA is highly preferred.

• Preferred certifications in Workday Reporting, Prism, HCM, or Financials.

• Role involves approximately 70% technical/reporting work and 30% business-facing/functional responsibilities.

• Note that this position is not a purely HCM functional role.
