Workday Payroll Consultant, Canada

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with clients to implement Workday Payroll technology solutions tailored to their increasingly complex business environments.

• Provide high-quality Workday solutions across diverse industries to fulfill the evolving business needs of clients.

• Define, construct, and execute HR processes and structures that align with clients' business objectives, enhancing their experience and maximizing the value of Workday software.

• Actively engage in internal training sessions and opportunities to share skills and knowledge with colleagues within the organization.

• Oversee a team of consultants, mentoring them in their Workday and professional development while managing escalations (Manager Level).

• Leverage Workday expertise to create sales materials and outline project scopes as required by the sales team (Senior/Principal Level).

• Willingness to travel 25-45% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Workday US & Canadian Payroll Certification (Mandatory).

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in implementing Workday Payroll configurations for customers of varying complexities (Mandatory).

• At least 1 year of experience in requirements gathering, design, prototyping, and testing of Workday Payroll solutions based on customer needs.

• Familiarity with payroll checklists, earnings and deductions, pay groups, general ledger, costing allocations, audit alerts, approval processes, and security rules.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (Mandatory).

• Proficiency in French (Preferred).

• A strong commitment to outstanding customer service and collaboration.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.

• Ability to interact and collaborate positively with clients and colleagues, fostering confidence and trust.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to consider alternative and diverse perspectives regarding customer expectations.
