This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Deliver functional consulting services for Workday as a subject matter expert, encompassing requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Configure and enhance Workday HCM modules, which include Core HCM, Payroll, Talent, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Convert business requirements into scalable solutions within Workday.
• Collaborate effectively with Integrations, Payroll, Finance, consulting, and client teams.
• Conduct impact analysis for changes in configuration, business process updates, and Workday releases.
• Create and manage Workday reports, dashboards, and audits.
• Resolve production issues, carry out root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Assist in unit, end-to-end payroll validation, parallel, and regression testing.
• Train and provide mentorship to junior consultants.
• Keep abreast of Workday releases and industry trends.
• Serve as a trusted advisor through proactive communication and status reporting.
• Generate configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, and operational guides.
• Acquire knowledge of new tools, integrations, and client-specific systems.
• Contribute to proposal writing and thought leadership initiatives.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM in a consulting, implementation, or post-production support setting.
• Proven experience in configuring and supporting Workday HCM functionality within a production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday business processes, configuration, security, reporting, and system dependencies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex Workday issues and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Experience in supporting Workday releases and evaluating the impact of new functionalities on existing client configurations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with client stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities, client requests, and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with consulting and client teams.
• Capacity to build trusted relationships with clients and function in a client-facing consulting environment.
• Workday certification in one or more HCM functional areas is preferred.
• Experience with Workday AMS or managed services model is preferred.
• Background in supporting multiple Workday clients or complex enterprise environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday Reporting, Advanced Reporting, dashboards, calculated fields, and audits is preferred.
• Knowledge of Workday security and business process configuration is preferred.
• Experience with Workday Compensation, Time Tracking, and/or Absence modules is preferred.
• Involvement in Workday implementations or major optimization initiatives is preferred.
• Experience mentoring consultants or contributing to consulting methodologies and best practices is preferred.
• Background in supporting proposals, client solutioning, or business development activities is preferred.
