Workday Consultant, Student Financial Aid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become proficient in the Workday Student Financial Aid product.

• Carry out daily operations on a Workday Student implementation for clients, which includes process design, showcasing configurations through prototype system development, providing implementation lifecycle support, conducting conversions, testing, and project evaluations with clients.

• Collaborate with clients to facilitate the transition of legacy data into Workday.

• Support the integration consulting team in setting up and testing integrations between Workday and various third-party or custom solutions.

• Assist in mentoring new consultants and act as a professional role model.

• Work effectively and collaboratively on team-driven projects.

• Ensure clients comprehend and leverage Alchemy and Workday best practices.

• Help ensure that clients remain referenceable once they are in production.

• Partner with Engagement Managers to guarantee alignment across project plans and budget allocations.

• Aim to innovate by proposing new methods and tools for the efficient and effective deployment of Workday.

• Maintain necessary Workday certifications and qualifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in Financial Aid.

• At least 2 years of pertinent experience in consulting and/or higher education.

• Substantial knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS).

• Prior experience in deploying Student solutions such as Workday, Ellucian, Banner, Kuali, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, or comparable applications.

• Expertise in Higher Education or one of the following areas: Financial Aid, Student Financials.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%.
